Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help register patients for clinic. Weigh patients and check patients blood pressure.
- Attend to patients need as may be required during clinic hours.
- Assist with blood collection during clinic and off clinic hours.
- Assist with sputum collection during clinic hours.
- Assist with administering direct observed therapy.
- Perform other related duties as required
SKILLS:
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge of infectious disease transmission risks.
- Basic knowledge of contact investigations.
- Will have knowledge of working with different races ethnicities and minorities.
- Know how to deal with culture sensitive issues and be able to help patients.
- Must have empathy and relate well to immigrant and refugee population.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as phlebotomist.
- Experience working with diverse population.
- Bilingual preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- Minimum of High School Diploma.
- Current Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification.
SALARY:
Starting at $25/ hour. Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
