Short Description
Oversee operation of Boiler Room including but not limited to
- Scheduling 24/7/365 coverage
- 24/7/265 operation of Boiler Plant
- Performing and scheduling of all required Maintenance
- Performing and scheduling all NJ State required Inspection of Pressure Vessels
- Pressure Vessel licensure renewal / maintenance includes all Boilers (3) Chillers (4)
- Maintain Inventory and all associated paper work required by State of New Jersey for all pressure vessels
- Schedule and triage all emergency repairs to Boiler / Chiller Plants on campus
- Front line supervisor of all licensed stationary engineers (7) ( performance evaluations etc)
- Maintain required licensure to operate boiler plant (Blue Seal minimum / Red Seal for supervisor). Gold seal is required within 2 years of hire dateassisance with license is provided.
- Participate in future capital planning
- All other duties as required
Experience Required
Extensive HVAC / Chiller Plant experience.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or relevant Trade School.
License/Certification Requirements
License (or Certification): NJ-MAINT Required.
NJ Boiler License (Red Seal Minimum).
