The Details...
Reporting to the Associate Director of Production Engineering and with the guidance of senior engineers youll work with our R&D and Production teams to define develop implement and support the assembly and overall Production process. Youll facilitate the development of internal and external production processes and establish and maintain production processes and quality for new products as well as improvements to existing ones. Youll always be looking for ways to develop and implement measures that improve product quality and drive cost savings.

What Were Looking For...
Well expect you to have a degree in mechanical engineering or a similar subject and youll be apprentice trained with significant relevant industrial experience. Youll have a backgroundof production engineering within a highly regulated industry such as medical oraerospace and have worked in manual cell manufacturing where leaninitiatives have been desirable would be experience with automating and semi-automating processes for medical products. Youll have experience in establishing and validating pilot production lines as well as in performing FMEAs verifications and validations for medical devices products and processes. Alongside your strong technical background youll be a strong communicator with excellent writing skillsenabling you to create specifications processes and manufacturing documentation. Youll also be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Project Excel and Visio.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively with others from multi-disciplinary teams likes to take a hands-on approach and is a proactive problem solver. In addition youll be encouraged to be self-sufficient and involved from day one with a very supportive and capable team behind you.
