Job Description
Join Our Team as a Facility Operator (Permanent Full-Time)
Location: North Battleford Comprehensive High School
Hours: 8 hours/day 248 days/year
Start Date: As soon as possible

This full-time permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who values collaboration takes pride in creating safe and efficient learning environments and brings both technical and interpersonal strengths to their work.
What Youll Do
As a Facility Operator youll play a key role in ensuring the schools physical environment is welcoming functional and safe. Youll work closely with the principal lead caretaker and facilities team to plan and carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks and facility improvements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing HVAC operations and maintenance including diagnosing and calibrating systems
- Performing daily inspections of the buildings exterior and reporting required repairs
- Completing minor equipment repairs and maintenance on cleaning machinery
- Supporting grounds care including snow removal grass cutting and litter control
- Assisting with setup for school events particularly in the gymnasium
- Collaborating on long-term planning for building operations and safety

- In possession of a valid drivers license
Required Qualifications
- Valid Fifth Class Power Engineers Certificate
- Demonstrated experience in HVAC and refrigeration system operation and maintenance
- WHMIS Certification
- General carpentry skills are considered an asset
