Job Description
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements.
- Create and post job advertisements on various platforms including job boards and social media.
- Screen applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Administer pre-employment assessments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of candidates and recruitment activities.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline recruitment processes.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through various sourcing techniques.
- Provide a positive candidate experience during the recruitment process.
- Conduct background checks and employment verification for shortlisted candidates.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientations.
- Stay informed on industry trends to identify competitive recruiting strategies.
- Assist in the development of employer branding initiatives.
- Report on recruitment metrics and analyze data to improve hiring strategies.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as a recruiter preferably in the health care sector.
- Familiarity with various recruitment tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment process and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations affecting hiring.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and network with potential candidates.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to recruitment challenges.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Certification from an HR association (e.g. SHRM PHR) is a plus.
