About the role

selectability are seeking a program coordinator who will be responsible for developing leading and coordinating multiple programs. The program coordinator will work closely with the regional coordinator to ensure the success of the program. Based in Rockhampton this is a fulltime fixed term contract until 30 March 2027.

The Program Coordinators key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • establishing community and corporate support
  • reporting on contract deliverable and KPIs
  • building a team of Lifestyle Support Workers
  • mentoring and coaching staff in best practice of service delivery
  • ensure compliance with relevant industry standards
  • work with consumers to get the best out of their services with selectability

About you

To be successful you must:

  • experience in the mental health and/or suicide prevention sector
  • the ability to lead teams and provide mentoring coaching and development
  • a love for new knowledge and learning with the ability to learn fast
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff
  • the ability to manage a high workload organise and obtain compliance with a variety of tasks despite conflicting priorities with minimal supervision
  • exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
  • and most importantly a positive attitude!

You will also need:

  • relevant qualifications in mental health
  • a current minimum P1 C class Queensland drivers licence
  • a currently registered roadworthy and fully comprehensive vehicle
  • a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety & You
