What you get to do:
You will help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. You will model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with. You will:
- Supervise train and counsel Ambassadors
- Perform the job duties youre supervising
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members guests and animals
- Develop team members through training feedback and coaching
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
- Assist leadership with supervision of planning directing and organizational needs of the department with a focus in Catering Special Events and Consumer Events & Festivals
- Respond to guest and team member needs
- Assists leadership with employees scheduling training food ordering and equipment
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 18 years of age
- At least 1 year of experience in the food and beverage industry or similar high volume leadership capacity
- Able to lead and develop ambassadors in daily job task
- A role model for SEA safety guest service attendance cleanliness and wardrobe standards
- Able to work with and lead ambassadors in areas that sell and serve alcohol.
- A valid Drivers license and ability to meet company driving guidelines preferred
- Able to complete a Food Safety Manager certification and pass the exam
- Lift carry push and pull up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
- Frequent bending from waist to floor kneeling squatting simple hand grasping work and fine hand manipulation (computer work/typing writing).
- Occasional overhead reaching and climbing stairs and ladders
- Work both indoors and outdoors exposed to a variety of weather conditions
- Perform all cleaning duties including use of cleaning chemicals
- Able to work a flexible schedule (Includes: Weekends holidays catering events and evening hours)
