Position Title: Asset Manager Commercial Properties

Company: Tavistock Development Company LLC


Summary: Tavistock Development is seeking an Asset Manager with 3-5 years of experience in real estate finance asset management or a related field. The role focuses on managing various types of commercial real estate.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with property managers to optimize financial and operational performance of assigned assets.
  • Develop thorough understanding of the investment dynamics of each asset including market fundamentals lease obligations capital improvements financial performance and other relevant information.
  • Routinely review operating results monitoring variances and providing investment recommendations of each asset.
  • Lead financial forecasting processes including budget development cash flow forecasting strategic planning and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information for quick decision-making.
  • Contribute to improve the asset management process; driving efficient effective decision-making.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate finance asset management or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree in business finance or real estate; Masters degree preferred.
  • Expertise in financial modeling Excel and Microsoft suite of products.
  • Experience in designing and developing efficient financial processes systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with MRI and Spread Sheet Server systems preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial management and reporting to influence key decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities including proficiency in writing business reports.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership; presenting clear and concise findings and recommendations.
  • Operates with the utmost standard of ethics and integrity.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically able to perform assigned work.
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer as required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
