Commercial Project Manager

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager with at least 5 years of project management experience in the commercial door frame and hardware industry. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment takes ownership of their work and seeks long-term growth within a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial projects from initiation to completion ensuring delivery is on time and within budget
- Interpret architectural specifications and prepare comprehensive estimates based on both national and local building codes
- Maintain strong product knowledge in commercial doors frames and hardware (preferably Allegion and Assa Abloy lines)
- Prepare and present detailed bid packages for materials and installation
- Create RFIs and communicate effectively with general contractors architects and stakeholders
- Attend site surveys and job walks; collaborate with in-house installers and subcontractors for successful installations
- Prepare and submit detailed submittals and purchase orders
- Coordinate billing through monthly SOVs and manage change orders
- Support estimating team to ensure a steady project pipeline
- Adhere to company SOPs and core values
- Participate in internal and external project meetings and maintain clear documentation
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial door frame & hardware project management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel Outlook and Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and multitasking ability
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualities:
- Field experience is a plus
