Job Description
Job Title: Accountant I(Hybrid 2 days a week in Texas Support Center)

Essential Function
Responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets liabilities profit and loss tax liability or other financial activities within an organization.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience
- Previous experience in month-end close processes
- Sarbanes Oxley compliance experience desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel)
- Oracle
- Hyperion is a plus
Primary Duties
30%Performs various account reconciliations to interpret and report the effects of established financial plans.
25%Prepares examines and analyzes accounting records financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
20%Develops maintains and analyzes data to be used in management reporting.
15%Establish and assigns entries to proper accounts in the General Ledger.
10%Develops implements modifies and documents recordkeeping and accounting systems making use of current computer technology.

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements:
- The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices meeting and training rooms retail stores and residences or commercial vehicles e.g. use of safe work practices with office equipment avoidance of trips and falls observance of fire regulations and traffic signals etc. The work area is adequately lighted heated and ventilated.
- The work is sedentary. Typically the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers files books small parts; using a keyboard driving an automobile etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
