At Sandvik Group IT were now looking for a Senior Solution Engineer to join our Identity Products team a key role in shaping the future of Identity and Access Management (IAM) at a global leader in industrial innovation.

Youll be part of our Identity Fabric product area including Identity Products Identity Operations and Directory Services. Together we deliver secure cutting-edge identity solutions that protect digital access across the Sandvik Group.
About your job
In this position youre responsible for developing maintaining and optimizing our identity management solutions. You work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of our IAM services. By actively researching emerging technologies and proposing changes you keep us at the forefront of innovation.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Develop and anchor a technology roadmap for our products aligned with the technology direction for our product area.
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the current IAM environment and identify gaps risks and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance IAM capabilities and ensure secure access.
- Support the deployment and operation of directory services such as eDirectory Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Drive improvements in service efficiency security and functionality.
The location for this position is Sandviken or Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work set-up allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
Were looking for someone with extensive experience with OpenText IDM and IGA combined with proficiency in Java and JavaScript. Youre comfortable working with development tools like Eclipse or IntelliJ and you understand the architecture and operation of directory services such as eDirectory Active Directory and Entra ID. Youre skilled in working with APIs and protocols like REST SOAP and SCIM and knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) is a plus. Your background includes a relevant education or equivalent professional experience. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English verbally and in writing.
Youre a proactive problem-solver who enjoys taking ownership and leading initiatives. With a strong analytical mindset and collaborative spirit youre a valuable team player. You thrive in a dynamic environment communicate effectively and are always looking for ways to improve and innovate.
