Corporate Title: Junior Officer to Senior Assistant Manager

Work Arrangement: On-site

Our Trust and Assent Management Team is looking for an experienced professional to join us in Taguig for the role of Trust Reconciliation Officer.

In this role you will be responsible for independently reviewing and reconciling trust accounts transactions and investment holdings ensuring alignment with sound risk management practices governance standards and compliance requirements.

What the role will entail

  • Reconcile trust-related documents by verifying inventory of numbered forms and collateral documents under safekeeping.
  • Perform daily and periodic reconciliations of securities holdings including fixed income equities and term deposits against official records and custodial accounts.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of float items by reporting daily cash and sundry floats and assisting in minimizing unresolved items.
  • Validate system functionalities to prevent account closures or redemptions that breach policy; ensure accurate trust fee generation and maintain zero-float status in closed accounts.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate valuation of investments in non-marketable equity securities and real property; document related processes.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies by creating reference guides and ensuring consistent application across float types and reconciliations.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation in reconciliation activities.

What were looking for

  • Bachelors Degree in Accountancy Management or any related field in Finance
  • At least 6 months of experience in bank or trust operations; operations audit experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of banking/trust products finance and investments with well-developed analytical planning and computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented diligent and resourceful with effective communication skills and a proactive work approach.
