Job Description

About the role

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for the provision of comprehensive care of patients within all Recovery Units (including Acute Day Surgery and Endoscopy) and provides support & direction to less senior Registered Nurses Enrolled & Student Nurses.

What you bring

  • AHPRA Registration
  • Experience in the Paediatric field
  • The ability to give direct care to a varied patient population within all Recovery Units - Day Surgery
  • Treat all patients with respect & equality whilst being responsive to their needs
  • Continually develop both personally & professionally to meet the changing needs of your career & industry
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
