The Medical Surgical Orthopedics and Pediatrics floor at St. Francis is a 29-bed unit dedicated to caring for a wide variety of patients.
To thrive in this role youll heavily depend on your ability to multitask and react. Youll clinically care for your patients- remaining focused and attentive as you continuously monitor your patients throughout your shift. You also serve as their advocate- supporting their best interests when they cannot. However your sound judgment during an emergency and rapid response are impressive putting you on the radar for advancement.
Compensation: Base rate shift differential
Incentives: up to $25000 sign on bonus up to $10000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)
Nurse Residency offered for all New Graduates- our Medical Surgical Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center youll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac telemetry orthopedics neurology critical care surgical services and emergency.
