Tax Accountant Public Accounting Akron OH

A well-established CPA firm in Akron OH is seeking aSenior Tax Accountant who can take full responsibility for preparing and reviewing returns from start to finish. This is an opportunity to join a respected and growing team that values long-term relationshipswith both clients and employees.
What Youll Do:
Prepare and review federal state and local tax returns for individuals partnerships and corporations
Work directly with business owners CFOs and CEOs across a variety of industries including manufacturing healthcare dental practices restaurants bars nonprofits and professional services
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients offering guidance and insights beyond compliance
Handle a diverse workload and manage multiple priorities during tax season and beyond
Collaborate with a supportive team committed to accuracy client service and continual learning
What Theyre Looking For:
3 years of recent experience in public accounting
Proficiency in preparing tax returns independently from start to finish
Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
CPA license or progress toward CPA preferred
Experience with a variety of tax software (e.g. UltraTax CCH Lacerte etc.) a plus
