Provides advanced administrative and computer support to Director and/or Assistant Director and their departments.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Outlook preferred. Familiarity with UO systems is a plus.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities (KSAs) required:
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers/clients regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to interpret spreadsheets and bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

High school degree or GED is required. Bachelors degree is preferred.
2 to 5 years of administrative assistant experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
