Location: Toronto/Oshawa Office (Hybrid 2 days remote)
Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate project meetings including scheduling preparing agendas and documenting minutes. Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders facilitating clear and timely communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and QA to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including status reports risk logs and change requests.
- Provide regular updates to management on project status highlighting any issues or risks. Quality Assurance:
- Support quality assurance activities by coordinating testing schedules and tracking defect resolution. Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify and document project risks and issues working with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Escalate critical issues to management as needed. Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in project coordination or management within an IT or software development environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product modeling processes.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira Confluence Trello).
- Familiarity with programming languages and development frameworks (e.g. Python Java .NET) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of database management and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
