The role
If youre passionate about strengthening local government performance and want to lead a team that drives real change across councils in NSW this role is your opportunity to make a difference. As Manager Council Performance youll oversee a team dedicated to monitoring how councils plan their financial long-term sustainability and improve performance of effective service delivery. You will be establishing relationships with councils to directly inform regulatory action and support councils to meet their goals.
This is a fast-paced high-impact role where youll manage complex financial and non-financial assessments juggle competing priorities and build strong partnerships across government and council stakeholders. Youll also develop policy shape strategy and provide high-level advice to leadership and ministers on emerging issues ensuring your insights help improve outcomes for communities across NSW.
