Job Schedule: 1st Shift 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off
Job Description:
L3Harris is looking for an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter who can work in a fast paced environment is self-motivated and a positive team member. Personal warranty & quality service is required.
Essential Functions:
- High pressure airline set-up and repairs.
- Plan and install pipe routings & locations of plumbing fixtures connections & necessary equipment per established codes and regulations.
- Determine size type & amount of pipe connections & other materials and compatibilities required per job walks.
- Use plumbing and pipefitting hand and power tools; experience with Pro-Press and industrial drain snakes.
- Cut thread and file piping and tubing.
- Troubleshoot diagnose and repair plumbing breakdowns or take other necessary corrective action including maintenance and repair of such items as broken corroded and leaky lines clogged sewer drains inoperative sanitary plumbing equipment and above or below ground valves.
- Operate lifts and work from overhead platforms certified confined spaces roofs and areas with limited access.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times by complying with safety policies and procedures rules and regulations and cleaning up after all jobs.
- Read and follow work instructions.
- Work in a team environment.
- Ability to work 6:00am 3:30pm and alternating weekends.
- Ability to move 32 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Boiler and high pressure system operations 3 years minimum experience.
- Minimum of 3 years proven hands on experience with boilers and high pressure systems along with overall plumbing experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Use and knowledge of hand tools and measuring tools.
- Ability to braze copper piping
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $32.63/hr - $53.98/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
