Job Description
Position Title: Hybrid UX Designer / UX Writer
Duration: Long Term
Location: Remote- Orlando FL
Summary:
We are looking for a versatile Hybrid UX Designer / UX Writer who can craft intuitive user interfaces while delivering clear engaging and purposeful UX copy. This role balances interface design systems thinking and content strategy to shape seamless user-centered digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design wireframes user flows and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
Develop UX copy and microcopy that align with product voice and tone
Work across UX product and engineering teams to ensure cohesive design and content integration
Conduct research and usability testing to guide design and content improvements
Advocate for content design principles and accessibility in all projects
Collaborate on design systems ensuring consistency in both UI elements and UX language
Required Qualifications:
46 years of experience in UX design and/or UX writing roles
Strong Figma skills and familiarity with design systems
Demonstrated ability to write clear user-focused copy for web and mobile experiences
Solid understanding of UX research methods and best practices
Ability to flex between design and writing without compromising quality on either side
Bachelors degree in UX HCI English Communications or related field
NNG Certification or equivalent UX credential preferred
Strong portfolio showing examples of interface design and UX writing work
