Job Details:
Nancy Morans lab at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking a reliable undergraduate assistant to help with fly rearing.

Job responsibilities:
Primary duties will involve fly kitchen duties and fly husbandry. This includes;
Depending upon a students interest there may be future opportunities to assist with additional research duties.
Qualifications:
Current UT student in undergraduate program. No experience is necessary. Training will be provided.
It is desirable to be organized self-motivated communicative well organized and able to keep up-to-date records.
Students in the position will be exposed to bees in the lab spaces even if they are not working directly with bees.
Work Schedule:
The student should be in Austin for the majority of the summer for about 10 hours a week during weekdays between 8am-6pm and applicants should have 2-3 hour blocks of time available in their schedule.

This position is available for Summer 2025 (May - Aug); with a possibility of extension to Fall 2025.
