Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate / Mid-Level PHP Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Laravel a solid understanding of nginx and Debian-based environments and strong proficiency in MySQL database structures. You will be responsible for developing maintaining and optimizing web applications that are scalable secure and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities & Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Configure and manage nginx web servers for optimal performance and security.
- Work within Debian-based environments for deployment and server management.
- Design and optimize MySQL databases including writing complex queries and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with front-end developers designers project managers product owners and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean well-documented and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Submit time sheets timely to quantify development activities
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 24 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Proficiency with the Laravel framework.
- Experience configuring and managing nginx web servers.
- Familiarity with Debian or other Linux-based operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with version control systems especially Git.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
