SimulationCurriculum Design and Delivery:
Serve as a key educator for the Student Teams Assessing and Treating Together (STATT) curriculum
Supports the design facilitate and debrief simulation activities focused on clinical reasoning communication and teamwork
Ensure alignment of simulations with LCME standards (Elements 7.4 7.8 and 7.9)
Collaborate with faculty to develop competency-aligned simulation cases
Contribute to continuous quality improvement in simulation programming
Interprofessional and TeamSTEPPS Education:
Serve as lead or Co-lead of TeamSTEPPS training programs across campus
Collaborate with faculty from nursing pharmacy and other allied health programs
Promote IPEC Core Competencies and shared mental models through simulation
Student Mentorship and Faculty Development:
Mentor medical students participating in simulation research projects to support the Simulation Centers academic mission through scholarship and presentations
Provide faculty training in simulation pedagogy debriefing and assessment
Support ongoing faculty development and curricular innovation

Position is part-time at .45 FTE (18 hours per week); schedule may vary depending on simulation activities.
Position is onsite with occasional opportunity for remote work with supervisor approval.
Education: Masters Degree in Education or health-related discipline
Work Experience:
5 years of experience in an academic healthcare or simulation learning environment.
5 years of experience designing and implementing curriculum or training.
Education:
Ph.D. in Education or health-related discipline
Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification
Current Health care licensure (RN PA-C APRN MD or DO)
Work Experience:
Experience with simulation-based education and development.
Experience with medical education research.
Effective communication and facilitation skills.
Strong interpersonal leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate in a dynamic academic and clinical environment.
Commitment to educational excellence and evidence-based teaching methods.
Part-Time
