**This position may be filled as an Analyst I IIIII or Sr. based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.**

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Implements the requirements process for the Grid Technology organization that translates user needs into functional specifications including theestablishment of standards use-cases templates and critical processes (i.e. requirements change control andrequirements traceability). Is an intermediary between the business community and Entergys IT Delivery teamsworking with Program Managers Development teams Solution Architects and business subject matter experts(SME) to capture clarify and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (usingappropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. Helps shape the technology

implementation to meet the demand among the business unit.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Power Delivery business SMEs to capture analyze translate and document business requirements intooperational work products (e.g. use cases functional specs) for T&D to be used by the development teams.

  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of business needs and awareness of business objectives. Keep abreast of industry trends and innovationsin technology.

  • Translate both strategic and tactical business requirements into specific operational requirements within anassigned business domain.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Desired: Masters Degree.

Minimum Experience:

  • Analyst I:0 - 2years of professional experience
  • Analyst II: 2 - 4 years of professional experience
  • Analyst III: 4 - 6 years of professional experience
  • Analyst Sr: 6 yearsprofessional experience
  • Preferred:3 years of operational experience (operating & maintaining electric utility facilities) including previous experience and knowledge of T&D applications.

Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Word Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in writing requirements (e.g. business requirements use case functional specs)
  • Entry-level project management
  • Good organizational skills required with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of the electric T&D systems
  • Good computer knowledge regarding Entergys core T&D software applications and systems (ADMS GIS TOMS etc.)
  • Must be able to lead and work with other personnel departments and organizations as part of a team to provide high customer satisfaction
