Job Description

Location: Dry Creek - Adelaide South Australia

About the Role:

Aurizons footprint in South Australia continues to grow and were seeking a motivated planning professional to support critical supply chain initiatives.

As a Fleet & Demand Planner youll develop demand forecasts and material plans to ensure the timely supply of essential resources. Youll work with internal stakeholders to monitor performance manage risks and deliver practical planning solutions that support safe and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining effective load and material demand plans
  • Providing accurate forecasting data to support the timely supply and delivery of materials
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure planning documentation and schedules are up to date
  • Analysing performance trends and identifying areas for improvement
  • Monitoring inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess and recommending corrective actions
  • Producing regular planning reports and updates for key stakeholders

About You:

Youre a proactive and organised planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced data-driven environment. You bring experience in supply chain or logistics planning and enjoy translating complex information into clear actionable plans.

To be successful in this role youll have:

  • Experience working in supply chain and/or heavy industry
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in forecasting and modelling
  • Proficiency in Excel and planning/forecasting systems
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A proactive mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • This role would be suitable for a FIFO arrangement from Adelaide or a DIDO arrangement from Whyalla or Port Augusta on a rotational roster

Desirable:

  • Broader supply chain knowledge
  • Experience using supply chain planning software and modelling tools
