Job Description
Role: Business Analyst
Experience: 5 Years
Location: Noida/Pune
Mode: Work from Office
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Business Analyst with 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills with a proven track record of gathering and analyzing requirements defining business needs and providing data-driven solutions. Knowledge of Big Data and data pipelines will be a significant plus as you will collaborate with data teams to ensure seamless integration of business requirements with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for development teams.
- Data Analysis: Analyze business data identify trends and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and help design solutions to optimize workflows and business operations.
- Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation of business requirements user stories use cases and functional specifications.
- Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with development data and IT teams to ensure business requirements are met through technical solutions.
- Big Data & Data Pipelines: Leverage knowledge of Big Data technologies and data pipelines to support data-driven decision-making and ensure efficient data flow across business systems.
- Testing & Validation: Assist in the validation and testing of new systems and processes to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams ensuring alignment of project goals and timelines.
- Project Management: Support project management activities including planning monitoring and reporting on project progress.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong background in gathering business requirements and delivering solutions.
- Big Data Knowledge: Understanding of Big Data concepts and technologies including Hadoop Spark or similar.
- Data Pipeline Experience: Familiarity with data pipelines ETL processes and data integration tools.
- Business Analysis Skills: Proven ability to gather requirements define business processes and produce detailed documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to liaise effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Tools & Technologies: Proficiency with business analysis tools such as Jira Confluence or similar; experience with SQL or other data querying languages is a plus.
- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban is preferred.
