Job Description
Overview
The Full Stack Developer plays a critical role in our organization by bridging the gap between front-end design and back-end functionality. This position entails working on the entirety of our web applications from the user interface to the database. As a Full Stack Developer you will collaborate closely with other developers designers and stakeholders to ensure that the applications meet both user needs and business objectives. Your ability to develop efficient code and a keen eye for design will be crucial as the applications are deployed to help users drive engagement and improve experiences. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for maintaining the visual aspects of web applications while ensuring server-side logic integrates seamlessly. This role is not just limited to coding; it requires creativity and problem-solving skills to innovate and improve our technologies. Ultimately your contributions will enhance the overall performance and user experience of our digital offerings making this position vital to the success of our technical team and broader mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust front-end interfaces using HTML CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
- Implement server-side logic to manage requests and responses effectively.
- Create and maintain database systems using SQL/NoSQL technologies.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to turn designs into functional web applications.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Test and debug applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end services.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
- Document processes code and technology stacks for knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with product managers to gather requirements and set development roadmaps.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Implement security measures to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
- Participate in agile development processes including stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in full stack development.
- Proven experience with HTML CSS and JavaScript frameworks preferably Codenighter JS.
- Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages like or Python.
- Experience with database management systems (MySQL MongoDB etc..
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug web applications efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup or tech environment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Diligence in writing clean and maintainable code.
