Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Tech Lead) to join our team and guide our engineering teams while building innovative products and driving technical excellence. This role is mostly hands-on coding with some team leadership and project ownership in a fast-paced startup environment. If you have a strong background in data analysis and data engineering
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and deploy scalable and robust data intelligence services for crunching through vast lakes of Cosmose data.
- Design and implement internal tools or prepare one-off reports for our data-driven decision and monitoring needs.
- Lead and mentor the team fostering growth and collaboration.
- Maintain high code quality standards through proper design well-structured automated testing and thorough code reviews.
- Assist with the assessments of experiments and formulate recommendations as to the best course of action in product development based on data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business goals.
- Drive innovation by staying up to date with emerging technologies and trends.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software engineering; experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
- Significant experience in software development with a focus on building and deploying scalable solutions. We work in Python we like Clickhouse.
- Strong understanding of statistics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
- Interest or experience in infrastructure development is a plus.
- A mindset for innovation and the drive to build high-impact products in a startup environment.
