Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Laravel Developer to join our dynamic team in Lagos Nigeria. As a Laravel Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework and related technologies.
- Design develop and maintain robust scalable and secure web applications using Laravel and PHP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into Laravel applications
- Optimize database queries and application performance
- Implement and maintain version control using Git
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Laravel and PHP development
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Laravel development
- Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL and database design principles
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Proficient in HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as or React
- Experience with version control systems preferably Git
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing methodologies
- Strong understanding of web application security best practices
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Laravel certification is a plus
Additional Information :
The remuneration is competitive along with other benefits.
