Transport Planner (SAP Experience Required)

Objective:

Ensures proper Transport Management for Meats and Luzon purchases. Includes deliveries to clients and inter-warehouse or Distribution Center (DC) movements. Oversees actual execution of Transport Coordinators and Transport Staff/ Docs Assistant versus the Truck and Route plan that the Transport Specialist strategized. Truck and route plan ensure on-time deliveries (OTD) while ensuring cost effectiveness. Examines Freight Cost OTD Drip loss performance with immediate TL. Addresses with the Transport Coordinators any real-time and moving forward concerns for immediate improvement plans.

1) Performs Truck and Route planning for the next days dispatches

a) Extracts orders for the dispatches the next day--the deliveries for the next two (2) days.

b) Ensures accurate capturing of orders with Confirmed Quantities data plotted.

c) Ensures the main criteria and performance indicators are executed and met:

i) Freight costs Peso (Php) per kilogram (Kg) expense

ii) Truck space percentage (%) utilization

iii) On-time delivery (OTD) wherein window time per delivery site is considered.

iv) Allocation or assignment or truck units that meets client special requirements (e.g. with higher truck van height).

v) Target Loading time - collaborates with Dispatch Specialist. Includes client pick-ups.

d) Publishes to the following recipients the Truck Plan email report in the early morning.

i) Pilmico internal stakeholders

ii) Trucking Partners for truck allocation

iii) External Warehouses or DCs for pick-up schedule alignment

2) Approves Exemption Orders from Sales. Analyzes and decides the feasibility in fulfilling those items beyond Ordering cut-off. If Transport Specialist approves the Exemption request: a) Revises Truck Plan sent in the early morning and publishes the Final Truck Plan in the same email thread in the afternoon before preparation of items for dispatch starts. b) Converts the Final Truck Plan into an easy-read format and publishes the final Truck Plan in Viber group at 3pm max. Vital details are as follows: i) Truck details - Trucker name Truck type and Plate number ii) Contact number of the truck driver or helper iii) Call time in Tarlac Meat Masters (TMM) iv) Delivery details - Clients or stores Call time to client or store Order of drops

3) Ensures that the strategies from Truck Plans are being executed properly by Transport Coordinators and Trucking Partners. a) Checks from time-to-time concerns from Transport Coordinators risen from the set Truck Plans b) Addresses real-time issues with Sales if there are routing or truck assignment concerns c) Prepares improvements plans to ensure the real-time issues would be eradicated

4) Prepares the Freight Cost Monitoring Gsheet that is being maintained with the Transport Supervisor. This is where the accrual details submitted to Accounting are safekept.

5) Operates the owned truck fleet as guided by the Transport Supervisor. Includes expenses on owned units as well when capturing in Freight Cost Monitoring.

6) Performs processing of billings from Trucking Partners and ensures Accruals in Cost monitoring with low variance or equal versus Actual billings. a) Receives billings from Trucking Partners and checks completeness of attachments b) Ensures correct rates are applied by the Trucking Partners c) Endorses for approval to Logistics Manager. Sole criteria is the Accrual vs Actual analysis by the Transport Specialist.

Education: With Bachelors Degree
Experience: At least a year of experience in related field or expertise

Organized and can lead proper safekeeping of documents and reports
