Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities :
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning execution and successful completion of mechanical engineering projects within budget schedule and quality standards. This role involves leading cross-functional teams managing resources and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols. The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee all aspects of mechanical engineering projects from initial concept and design through manufacturing installation testing and commissioning
Plan and execute mechanical engineering projects.
Develop project scopes schedules and budgets.
Oversee design fabrication and installation.
Track project progress and identify risks.
Implement change management processes.
Communicate project status to stakeholders.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Manage vendor and customer relationships.
Ensure projects adhere to safety standards
Enforce quality control procedures.
Maintain project documentation.
Manage regulatory compliance.
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Optimize project costs and efficiency.
Making Competitive and winning techno-commercial offer for the RFPs or tenders as applicable
Technical objection handling with customers and Consultants
Qualifications :
Educational qualification:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
Experience :
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering. And 4-6 years of experience in project management specifically managing mechanical engineering projects.
Experience in managing projects involving manufacturing processes MES software implementations Industry 4.0 initiatives and industrial automation technologies (including electrical systems PLC programming and SCADA systems).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Other relevant certifications (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
