Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management:Take charge of maintaining and preparing the Syndicate UK GAAP general ledger and ETB including the preparation and posting of journals.
- Financial Reporting:Be instrumental in the planning and preparation of our quarterly Lloyds Flash Reports as well as our half-year and annual Financial Statements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with our Actuarial Tax and Treasury teams and liaise with External Auditors to ensure seamless reporting processes.
- Regulatory Returns:Prepare essential returns such as RRQ RRA QF1 and US and Canadian Trust returns ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Process Improvement:Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Syndicate Reporting processes driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Support:Engage in exciting project work that supports our strategic goals and initiatives.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks:Be flexible and ready to support any other Lloyds returns or ad-hoc tasks as required.
QualificationsWhat Were Looking For:
Experience:
- Required:Previous experience in the insurance industry preferably within a Lloyds Syndicate.
- Qualifications:ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with Peoplesoft and FSassist software is a plus!
