The Department of Procurement Services is growing. We are searching for highly qualified candidates for the position of Business Relationship Manager. The incumbent will join a team that has earned the prestigious Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) Award from the National Procurement Institute and continues to implement best practices that will have a major positive impact on the City of Richmond and the improvement of the department. All team members are valued and recognized for their ideas and contributions to the success of the organization.
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) plays a critical role in building and nurturing trusted relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners including vendors agencies and cross-functional teams. This individual will lead strategic outreach efforts to understand evolving business needs identify opportunities for innovation and ensure alignment between services and organizational goals. The BRM will also oversee an Outreach Program Coordinator responsible for supporting engagement and collaboration efforts. Through proactive relationship management clear communication and a focus on value creation the BRM drives the successful execution of initiatives strengthens partnerships and supports the long-term success of the organization.
