Hitachi Energy is looking for a Factory HSE Specialist to join our Zaragozas Site. How youll make an impact
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
- Conduct comprehensive HSE risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards effectively.
- Implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Develop and coordinate impactful HSE training sessions to enhance employee awareness and compliance.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents and devise corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
- Collaborate with departments to integrate HSE considerations into daily business operations seamlessly.
- Regularly assess HSE performance indicators and prepare detailed reports to highlight trends and improvements.
- Design and execute effective emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness and resilience.
Your background
- Degree in Engineering Environmental Science Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in health safety and environmental roles within the industrial or energy sector.
- Strong understanding of health safety and environmental regulations standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing effective control measures to mitigate hazards.
- Ability to analyze HSE performance data prepare detailed reports and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conduct training sessions and engage employees in HSE practices effectively.
- Ability to drive behavioral change and promote a culture of health safety and environmental responsibility.
