In this role you will serve as a Risk Manager leading the global organizational health metrics and reporting workstream for Amazons Global Audit & Monitoring (GAM) team.
Key job responsibilities - Own and deliver recurring organizational health business reviews spanning multiple compliance topics (transportation food safety trade) - Build and maintain reporting mechanisms to drive cross-org collaboration and leadership visibility to highest priority risk metrics - Drive strategic initiatives to unify compliance metrics across multiple verticals - Partner with technology teams to lead automation initiatives and modernize reporting solutions - Represent GAM as the primary owner in business reviews with senior leadership - Lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders across business legal tech and field operations teams
A day in the life The Risk Manager will lead the organizational health metrics and reporting workstream. The individual will: 1) leverage their program/risk expertise to identify design and implement frameworks to enable compliance improvements 2) deep dive compliance hot spots and present findings/recommendations to senior leadership 3) continuously evaluate mechanism (process and metric) effectiveness 4) analyze program insights via ongoing reporting and 5) lead the WBR/QBR.

- 4 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience - Bachelors degree or equivalent - Experience handling confidential information
- 3 years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience - Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials - Experience with SQL and Excel
