Were looking for aTraining Specialistto join our dynamic and innovativeHuman Resources Operations Team. In this role youll play a key part in ensuring our workforce is equipped with the skills and confidence to succeed. Youll design develop and deliver high-quality interactive learning across a range of programs and audiences both digitally and face-to-face.
What Youll Do
- Design and deliver engaging face-to-face and digital training aligned with Councils Training Plan
- Develop learning materials eLearning modules and job aids
- Manage and optimise our Learning Management System (LMS) for a seamless user experience
- Build employee awareness of learning technologies and provide training in their use
- Assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is current and relevant
- Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives
What Youll Bring
- Proven experience in eLearning design and development using tools likeArticulate 360Adobe Captivate orTechSmith Camtasia
- Strong grasp of instructional design and adult learning principles
- Hands-on experience managing Learning Management Systems
- A collaborative detail-oriented approach and a passion for innovative learning solutions

Salary: Commencing salary circa $83460 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience).
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Fixed term contract to April 2026.
