A company at the heart of Tactical RPG :
Specialised in Tactical Role-playing (Tactical RPG) TACTIAL ADVETNRUES is a video game development and publishing studio created in Paris in July 2018.
You can already roll the dice and create your characters in our first game : Solasta : Crow Of The Magister published in May 2021 or have a look on our second projects demo on steam : Solasta II !
Our team of experts and enthusiasts is currently based in Paris. We plan to remain a studio on a human scale.
The job in a nutshell :
TACTICAL ADVENTURES is looking for a VFX Artist to replace a coworker on a maternity leave as a fixed term contract (Freelance status are also accepted).
Working with the other members of the artistic department you will be responsible for part of the production and quality of the VFX.
You will report directly to the Artistic Director.
Youll be in charge of :
You will ensure that the artistic direction given to VFX is respected and you will integrate your work directly into Unreal Engine 5.
- Based on concept art or precise descriptions from the game designer you will produce and integrate VFX into Unreal Engine 5.
- You will be the driving force behind the games VFX visuals.
- You will work closely with the Art Director the Lead 3D Animator the Principal Graphics Programmer and the Senior Technical Artist to ensure optimum quality.
- You will model and texture 3D models to support the creation of your semi realistic VFX.
Profil requirement :
- At least 3 years experience in Video Game & Gameplay (5 your will be a plus)
- Very good knowledges of Unreal Engine 5 & Niagara
- Interested in medieval-fantasy worlds
- Ability to work independently
- Able to work as a team
- Being attentive to deadlines
Nice to have:
- Having a good command of Photoshop and Blender
- Having a keen artistic eye
