Background Information
The purpose of this requisition is to procure a consultant resource for six months. and nbsp;The technical skilled resource will be initially required to focus on the Design and Development and QA and amp; Production Support for our ETL Projects.
Must haves:

Responsibilities:
Design implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction transformation and loading activities.
Provide production support by monitoring ETL jobs investigating failures and providing detailed reports on the resolution for issues faced in managing multiple data pipelines and QA support.
Translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code compiling data-driven programs maintaining and conducting unit tests.
Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages including technical assistance in implementation conversion and migrations.
Desired Skills:
Experience at the specified experience level setting up user access and user profiles backup and recovery and day-to-day computer systems operations.
Experience in Building and maintaining data pipelines and nbsp;(ETL/ELT processes).
Experienced in building and managing and nbsp;Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and nbsp;pipelines for ETL/ELT processes.
Proficient and experienced in designing and managing data warehouses (IICS) and nbsp;and databases(Oracle 19g)
Experienced in and nbsp;data ingestion and nbsp;from cloud storage on-premises systems and streaming sources and APIs
Proficient in designing and developing data integration solutions using and nbsp;Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Experienced in system management and administration on Windows and Linux operating systems.
Strong understanding of and nbsp;ETL concepts data transformation logic and data quality best practices.
Proficient in writing and optimizing and nbsp;SQL queries and nbsp;across various relational databases (Oracle SQL Server).
Familiar and proficient on Azure Cloud and Azure Storage technologies such as Azure Data Lake Storage Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake Analytics.
Skilled in and nbsp;monitoring troubleshooting and resolving and nbsp;IICS job failures and performance issues.
Experienced in and nbsp;incident management root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
Familiar with and nbsp;version control systems and nbsp;(e.g. Git) and and nbsp;CI/CD pipelines and nbsp;for deployment automation.
Knowledgeable in managing support tickets and change requests.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills
A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
Proficient in scripting (shell/python/Perl).
CRM technologies (e.g. Oracle Siebel CRM) Oracle OBIEE Informatica (PowerCenter and/or IICS).
Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards

Deliverables
Deliverables Include:
- Provide end to end software design development and QA/Production support and documentation services for all ongoing and upcoming ETL and data projects at Ontario Health on the cancer care programs team.
- Design Documents (LSTM Tickets in ADO).
- Source Code (PL/SQL SQL Shell Scripting ETL Python).
- ETL / Production Support Runbooks
- Project / Work Estimates
- Technical/ Conceptual specification documents

Knowledge Transfer Details:
The Candidate will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement. Some of this might occur at the end of the engagement but will also be shared as information is obtained/consolidated. Key deliverables will be shared with team.
The Candidate must provide all related documentation as part of Knowledge transfer protocol. Documents will be reviewed by the appropriate leads and signed off by manager/director.
The candidate will work collaboratively with the Ontario Health team throughout the assignment and ensure key deliverables milestones and documentation are shared.
A walkthrough of any demos development etc. will be required before the end of the engagement.
