Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Title: Backend Developer
Location: Portugal
Work Regime: Full-time & Remote
Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team!
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Build and enhance backend features focusing on clean modular code and leveraging modern frameworks to support new and existing product functionality;
- Design robust API layers translating complex business logic into efficient GraphQL queries and mutations for seamless client-server interaction;
- Work with dynamic data structures modeling and accessing data in MongoDB while ensuring consistency and performance across services;
- Contribute to the development workflow using Git for collaboration and participating in automated testing and deployment processes;
- Solve technical challenges proactively balancing speed and quality while collaborating closely with teammates in an agile fast-moving environment.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Strong experience with NestJS and TypeScript for backend development;
- Solid understanding of GraphQL and Apollo Server for API development;
- Experience working with MongoDB and Mongoose ORM;
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment;
- Languages: fluent English.
