Our Client is a multi-industry group operating in construction and catering known for delivering high-quality projects and services across Egypt. As the company continues to scale we are hiring a Procurement Manager to optimize our purchasing processes manage supplier relationships and ensure efficient material flow for both sectors.
The Procurement Manager will oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle across the construction and catering businesses. The role involves strategic sourcing vendor negotiations inventory planning and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop procurement plans for construction projects in coordination with project and site managers.
Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials such as cement steel plumbing electrical and finishing supplies.
Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
Track delivery timelines and manage logistics to ensure timely availability at sites.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with storekeepers on replenishment schedules.
Control costs by negotiating bulk pricing and reducing procurement lead time.
Ensure all procurement transactions are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation supplier records and project procurement reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Architecture Supply Chain or a related field.
- 7 years of procurement experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building materials equipment and technical specs.
- Proven negotiation vendor management and contract administration skills.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and project planning tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
