Job Description
Shift timing and Working days: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM AEDT/AEST (US Shift)
Description: As a senior PHP developer you will lead and handle complex projects and offer technical expertise. Your experience and knowledge will be critical in driving the success of our web development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Leading the development of complex PHP projects
- Architecting and designing scalable web applications
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements
- Ensuring the security and performance of PHP applications
- Making critical technical decisions and recommendations
- Troubleshooting and resolving challenging technical issues
- Conducting performance analysis and optimization of databases
- Implementing automated testing and continuous integration practices
- Evaluating and integrating new PHP libraries and technologies
- Contributing to the development of coding standards and best practices within the organization
- Leading cross-functional teams in project planning and execution
- Providing input on technology and tool selection for projects
- Mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level developers to enhance their skills
Skills:
- 8 - 12 years of experience as a PHP developer and a self-starter
- Extensive experience in PHP development including working with PHP frameworks
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like or ReactTML CSS and JavaScript
- Expertise with MySQL for database operations
- Advanced knowledge of PHP performance-tuning techniques
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for deployment and infrastructure management
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and serverless architecture
- Expertise in implementing security best practices and compliance standards
- Experience with microservices architecture and API design
- Ability to lead code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
