To ensure the stability and efficiency of DT-Techniks cloud infrastructure (BM4X) we are seeking qualified personnel. They will be responsible for 2nd-level incident and problem management working closely with our internal first-line onside-support DT-ISP/FOPS and the developers of network automation. Our goal is to enhance service quality and strengthen the innovation of our cloud services.

Activity description and concrete tasks:
Acceptence Tests and support for field operations with start-up installation of Switches and Routers from Cisco and Juniper.
2nd-Level Incident Management: Handle and resolve incidents escalated from first-line support conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions.
Problem Management: Identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions collaborating with compute automation developers to enhance automation processes.
Interface Collaboration: Work closely with first-line support DT-ISP FOPS (eg. for initial operation or RMA processes) and automation developers to ensure smooth operation and problem resolution.
Qualifications :
Tools & Platforms
Mainly you will be working on the network components connected via Jumpserver.
There will be further Tools to use:
- Jira
- Wiki
- CASM (Ticketing-Tool)
- Zabbix (Monitoring-Tool)
Skill requirements:
Mandatory skills:
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure especially Juniper (JunOS and JunOS Evo) and Cisco (NXOS IOS XR and IOS XE)
- Proficient in network skills such as IPv6 configuration and troubleshooting eVPN/VXLAN BGP and OSPF
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop effective solutions.
- Troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including first-line support DT-ISP FOPS and developers.
- Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Adaptability and Learning:
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Optional skills:
Agile Skillset:
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices (e.g. Scrum Kanban).
- Ability to contribute effectively in Agile team settings and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Tools:
- Experience with Zabbix and Netscout is advantageous
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
