Job Description
The Role
Were looking a Back End Developer to join the international team behind the development of a crypto exchange platform. Youll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable secure APIs and services that power the core of the platform. Youll integrate smart contracts manage wallet interactions and ensure seamless backend performance across blockchain and database systems.
What Youll Do
- Design build and maintain scalable backend services using or Python
- Develop and integrate APIs that interact with blockchain networks and smart contracts using tools like or
- Connect and manage wallet integrations to enable seamless user authentication and transaction flows
- Collaborate with the front-end team to define and support end-to-end Web3 user experiences
- Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases
- Ensure application security reliability and performance by applying backend best practices and blockchain-specific safeguards
- Monitor and support blockchain infrastructure (nodes RPC endpoints) where applicable
- Stay up-to-date with emerging Web3 trends especially DeFi protocols NFT standards and Ethereum ecosystem updates
What You Bring to the Table
- Proficient in or Python
- Experience integrating with smart contracts ( )
- Familiarity with wallet APIs (e.g. MetaMask WalletConnect)
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals (Ethereum or similar)
- Skilled in PostgreSQL MongoDB or similar databases
- Strong grasp of backend architecture API development and security best practices
- Experience with DeFi NFTs or running blockchain nodes
- Based in EMEA
