Willow Creek Composite High School located in Claresholm Alberta is seeking to hire the very best teachers in Alberta!

We are seeking a temporary full-time teacher to teach Junior and Senior High Foods with the possibility of offering other high school CTS courses. This position will commence on August 25 2025 and end on June 26 2026.
We are seeking a teacher who:
- Appropriate educational training and experience teaching the Alberta Foods CTS Curriculum;
- A trade certification in the foods industry would be an asset;
- A strong understanding of outcomes based assessment practices;
- Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team;
- A commitment to building relationships with students to create a safe caring and welcoming learning environment;
- A strong belief in parent involvement and communication including regular communication with home beyond the use of report cards;
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills;
- In depth knowledge of and experience with current outcomes based assessment practices and ability to develop multiple assessments such as portfolios and projects in addition to more traditional assessments;
- An ability to ensure success for students with diverse academic behavioural emotional and/or curricular needs within the classroom setting;
- Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for same;
