Infosys is seeking Media Domain Consultant This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged excellence is rewarded and diversity is respected and valued.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin TX OR be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
On Site work in a 24x7 support team across USA Mexico and India working in shifts.
Handle alerts incident management and service ownership for Broadcast Satellite Environment (For local and national live video and ads services across Broadcast Satellite OTT and IPTV)
Monitor the Control of the Broadcast environment for Satellite and OTT Content delivery
Incident management - Monitor for Automated/Manual alerts escalation of incidents both internally and externally to ensure their timely resolution
Manage and implement Change activities including Pre and post validations
Knowledge Management create and manage documentation SOP/ MOP and Issue history in ITSM Tool (ex: Service Now)
Outage management of Services and resolution
Bridge Management and Internal/External/Vendor stakeholders for Issue resolution
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Java API development along with Data Processing Transformation and Performance & Scalability.
API integration with security and Messaging Queues
Experience with Git/Gitlab CI/CD and Jenkins.
Experience with PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL/MSSQL
Knowledge of Python Scripting Cloud Computing AWS/GCP.
Knowledge of Troubleshooting and Agile Methodology.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery Environment.
Knowledge and Experience of implementing automations resulting in effort
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone email and face to face
