Job Description

The Lanes Group Rail division require an experienced multi trade operative to work on various projects within the Rail sector to boost the team and manage our increased workload in and around the Rainham area.
About the role:
You should be willing to be flexible in your approach and have a specialism in carpentry bricklaying or plastering . Works will include some concrete repairs paving painting replacing doors roofing and windows etc.
Predominantly the role is for nights (Sunday Thursday nights 10pm 6am) however you will be required to work day shifts when projects demand.
About you:
Youre a hard worker keen to be part of a strong team great customer service so youll be able to communicate respectfully with clients and the public when necessary.
The ideal candidate must have 5 years experience in multi trades work (rail experience preferred) hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
We are looking for staff that have a
- Good attitude & strong work ethic (essential)
- A good knowledge of Health and Safety (desirable)
- Ability to communicate well with management and staff (essential)
- Willingness to uphold company standards for quality craftsmanship safety and efficiency (essential)
- Delivers works of a high standard
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points (essential)
- Familiarity with railway infrastructures (desirable)
