Job Description
Primoris Design & Construction is seeking a junior-level Electrical Engineer to join our growing in-house engineering team in Tyler Texas. This person should be eager to learn and grow and have a basic (or more advanced) knowledge of electrical engineering and construction principles.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review vendor drawings
- Participate in development of project schedule scope budget staffing planning and construction planning
- Apply expert knowledge of commonly used electrical concepts practices codes and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry
- Apply knowledge and experience to complex projects find non-standard design solutions
- Build effective relationships with existing clients customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities
- Ensure customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met
- Prepare and present project budgets and cost estimates
- Report project performance
- Communicate effectively with others
- Comply with company and site safety policies
- Complete other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering required.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills ability to work methodically and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong attention to detail collaboration organization and problem-solving skills
- Willingness/ability to travel if/when necessary
