Netcall is an established name in the UK and beyond known for their powerful Liberty platform. Within Liberty Netcall combines low-code robotic process automation (RPA) contact centre software and intelligent document processing (IDP) into one integrated solution.
Their team in Brussels focuses on the latest component of the platform: Liberty IDP - an advanced AI-driven document processing solution built in Python. What makes Liberty IDP special It is designed to process huge volumes of documents with lightning-fast turnaround time.
To join their team in Brussels they are looking for a Senior Python Engineer. In this role you will join a multidisciplinary team of developers AI experts and product owners working together on a scalable SaaS product with a clear mission: to turn complex document flows into actionable data.
The role:
- You develop robust well-tested Python code within a modern SaaS stack (including Django/Flask Celery MongoEngine Pytest).
- You think about the architecture of the platform from AI integration to cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- You work closely with other developers (AI frontend DevOps) to build high-performing maintainable and future-proof solutions.
- You contribute to the evolution of the product: identifying performance bottlenecks improving features lowering latency etc.
- You are actively involved in code reviews test coverage and CI/CD pipelines - quality is key.
Your profile:
- You are an expert in Python and have at least 3 years of experience building scalable software products.
- You have experience with API frameworks such as Django or Flask databases (relational or NoSQL) messaging (Celery) CI/CD and testing (Pytest).
- You have a solid foundation in cloud technologies (AWS Azure or GCP) and deployment. You dont have to be a DevOps expert but you know whats going on.
- You are strong at writing readable maintainable code and always think critically about architecture.
- You feel at ease in an agile environment.
- You are proactive and customer-oriented and can work well together in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of AI or document processing is a plus but not a must - you will learn fast.
