We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Lead to join our team in an exciting project aimed at replacing our current internal Time and Scheduling solution with a state-of-the-art SaaS Workforce Management and Time System. This initiative is crucial for enhancing our operational efficiency and ensuring that our workforce management processes are streamlined and effective.
Tasks
- Defining Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers developers and external vendors to define a comprehensive end-to-end test strategy and detailed test plan. This will involve identifying testing requirements selecting appropriate testing methodologies and establishing clear testing objectives.
- Coordinating Testing Activities: Act as the central point of contact for all testing-related activities. You will coordinate testing efforts across various teams ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the testing process. Your leadership will be essential in fostering collaboration and communication among team members.
- Executing Test Cases: Oversee the execution of test cases ensuring that all functionalities of the new SaaS solution are thoroughly tested. This includes functional integration performance and user acceptance testing. You will also be responsible for identifying documenting and tracking defects ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensuring Quality Assurance: Advocate for quality throughout the project lifecycle. You will implement best practices in testing and quality assurance ensuring that the new system meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
- Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular updates on testing progress results and any issues encountered to project stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation of the testing process including test plans test cases and defect reports.
Requirements
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead or in a similar role preferably in SaaS implementations or workforce management- payroll- or other HR systems.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
