Job Summary
A leading international contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Manager to oversee the full scope of M&E works on major construction projects across KL and Selangor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team known for delivering complex developments to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be hands-on solutions-focused and confident managing both technical execution and stakeholder coordination from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of mechanical and electrical works across large-scale construction projects from planning and coordination to installation and handover.
Lead site meetings and maintain close collaboration with consultants architects and client representatives to ensure seamless project delivery.
Drive project performance by managing timelines budgets resources and technical execution.
Oversee the installation testing and commissioning of systems such as HVAC power supply and fire protection.
Identify and resolve technical risks early implementing mitigation plans to keep work on track.
Ensure detailed documentation cost tracking and reporting are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years experience in an M&E Manager or senior-level engineering role within the construction industry.
Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Strong technical understanding of building systems including HVAC electrical distribution ELV and fire safety.
Proven ability to lead M&E works across high-value fast-paced developments.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with experience engaging multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Skilled in project budgeting planning and risk management.
Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management software tools.
Track record of delivering complex M&E packages on time within budget and to specification.
